Francis is charged with ensuring every detail of SJHNI events are executed at the highest level.

Prior to joining SJHNI, he served as an instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy and as a Surface Warfare Officer aboard USS Antietam (CG 54) and USS Tripoli (LHA 7).

Francis graduated from the Naval Academy with a B.S. in Economics and earned a Master’s in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College.

His writing has appeared in the National Catholic Register, Catholic World Report and Crisis Magazine. In his free time, Francis enjoys mountaineering, playing the piano, and savoring a fine cigar.
