Lead School Mentor

Tim serves as School Renewal Lead Mentor and School Examen Consultant for the St. John Henry Newman Institute. He has spent 40 years in education across Catholic and charter schools, including roles as regional superintendent for National Heritage Academies and headmaster of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He began his career teaching math and physics with the U.S. Peace Corps in Togo, West Africa, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan–Dearborn along with a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Northern Michigan University. He lives in Ann Arbor with his wife, two children, and three grandchildren, where he enjoys hiking and fluorescent mineral collecting.
